Nice! The front of it looks rather like a face. It's kind of "meh..." about the snow.

Reference: I love the angle of this. It's so hard to take a photograph of something like a windmill with it coming out looking like anything interesting. Take the photo straight on and it looks like a snapshot - and reveals that it's surrounded by...

Great picture.  I have seen this windmill at the Cape but I can't remember what town it is in.  I was just there last summer for my sister's wedding.

It's the Eastham Windmill, circa 1680. It's on the left on the main road as you head out to Provincetown, so it's probably one of the most seen windmills out there. I meant to track down and visit more, but didn't get around to it.

That's gorgeous.  Don't you love finding little places like these?  The older buildings always have such a story to tell.

Ooops, I got my knickers in a knot over something and went to bed all sullen last night.... and missed posting my photo of the day. Silly me. Feeling much better tonight, so I'd better catch up. We have only had one decent snow here this year, and it...

There was finally enough snow-melt a couple of weeks ago for me to revisit this truck without taking the whole road over with my parked car.

This is an old tumbledown cottage down the road from my house. As I was heading out the other night the heavy rain was producing a fine water vapor rising up from the snow and wreathing around the building and trees. I particularly love how dark the...
