Well, I can see that I waited the proper amount of time....I can see the photos. I sure hope you get the camera situation figured out before the big shoot. Is it ever an option to rent a camera?

I really had no idea of the nuances between the terminology.  Sometimes you think you need to upgrade your camera in order to improve your photos, but you lay out a good case for letting your experience dictate when to upgrade.  Awesome...

Yes, great description!   Personally, my favorite term from your post is "hooly", which I fully intend to borrow. I think it's the equivalent to my usual "herkin'".   Every time I read one of these posts of yours I am motivated to get my...

I can honestly say I didn't realize there were more than 2 categories of cameras... Wow, I feel slow. And now I want to use that Groupon I bought for that photography class.

Oh yeah and when talking about ways to group cameras, I should add that they can also be grouped according to Automatic and Manual use - but again that doesn't apply in the digital era as many little P&S cameras have manual capability, and nearly...

I broke down and got the Nikon D3100 (doesn't have a tilty viewer), but kept my Fuji as a 2nd camera (with the tilty viewer). Now I'm saving for more lenses (came with a 18-55 zoom - splurged on the 70-300 zoom - saved on the 35mm prime because it...

Ooo! I hope it works! ION, my daughter spilled tea on her Mac yesterday. With some help from Dave, she found an online tutorial to take her Mac apart and clean it. She put it back together last night....but ended up with an extra screw.

My Love keeps me constantly updated on even the slightest of sales on the Canon 60D. He knows I love my tilty-swivelly screen. Besides, that word combo has become part of our family lexicon now - everything's tilty-swivelly, and if it's not then it...
